Changing Notepad Theme to Dark: A Step-by-Step Guide

Users can now change themes in Notepad, allowing for a Dark theme that many have been requesting. This feature is only available on Windows 11, so upgrading is necessary. While customization options are limited, they are sufficient for a note-taking tool. For more options, OneNote is recommended. To change the theme to Dark in Notepad for Windows 11, open Notepad and click the gear icon to access the Settings area. From there, select App Theme and choose Dark. Notepad does not allow for additional themes, but third-party tools like Notepad++ offer this feature.
